I was enjoying playing with the new colors I’ve been working on for my upcoming fall-winter collection, One Ring, based on Lord of the Ring (in particular the films directed by Peter Jackson). This collection has a very earthy, neutral feel…but its far from boring. This look in particular features 3 new products I have coming up: Evenstar (a natural berry-bronze tinted lip butter); Strider (a deep matte hunter green eyeshadow); and My Precious (a golden antiqued bronze cream eyeshadow). I have several other products I will be working on in the coming weeks, so stay tuned! I’m shooting for a mid October release and will keep you posted on this website as for a more exact release date.
Also, I have to gush over my new soft box studio lights I bought off ebay…They are freakin’ amazing….wow! I should have invested in this a long time ago. It actually shows my makeup true to color…no more depending on the finicky light form my office window for photos and video!
Eyeshadow base is Louis cream eyeshadow (golden olive); I packed on Strider, which is a deep matte hunter green color, same formula as Magic Carpet Ride, which is one of my more popular matte colors. I blended a bit of Hemmingway (deep matte brown) into the crease and inner socket and transitioned Strider into that. Blended out Hemmingway with Moulin (satin matte red brown). On the lower lashes I used Strider and blended that out with Moulin.
